We all know that cold, wet and wintery conditions can be really difficult to work in so it is extremely important that you and your staff are well prepared for the coming months. Our new WINTER WORKWEAR collection range has been selected to help protect and insulate you from the elements and includes everything from thermal socks to beanies and base layers to waterproof jackets and BRAND NEW for this season, a fleece snood. Here’s a quick look at your options this winter…
Head and neck protection: Our beanie hats are ideal to help protect your head and ears from the cold whilst also helping your body preserve its heat. Our brand new fleece snoods will help keep your neck and face warm and dry too.
Base layers: We all know that layering the correct clothes can help provide you with extra protection from the cold weather. Our thermal leggings and thermal long sleeved tops have been specifically designed to help create a layer of warmth around your lower body when worn underneath your workwear.
Hoodies and fleeces: Fleeces can be worn as your top layer if required but are also great for an extra layer before your winter jacket if the conditions are extreme. The fabric they are made from is designed to trap the heat and is great to help to insulate. Hoodies are also great to be worn under your winter jackets. Hi-vis options also available if required.
Winter coats: When working in cold and wet conditions your top layer, your winter coat, needs to be made of a tough fabric that will withstand all the wintery elements. We have a great selection of winter coats to chose from including parka jackets, rain jackets, waterproof jackets and softshell jackets from all the leading brands including TuffStuff and Portwest. Hi-vis jackets are also available to choose from.
And finally don’t forget your winter shoes… It is extremely important to keep your feet warm whilst you are working as having continuous cold feet can cause certain health problems. The best way to do this is with the correct footwear and a pair of thermal socks. We have a great new range of premium cold weather work boots that are water resistant and provide cold insulation up to -17 degrees, whilst also ensuring maximum comfort.
